Andrea Ivanova, a 24-year-old woman from Sofia, Bulgaria, is a prime example of someone with a strong obsession to change her looks—specifically the size of her lips. Through numerous hyaluronic acid injections, she has significantly increased the size of her lips, with an ambitious goal of having the world’s largest lips. Andrea confidently believes she’s close to achieving this dream.
Hailing from Sofia, the capital and largest city in Bulgaria, Andrea has committed herself to this controversial journey despite the financial cost and criticism. According to Unilad, she has undergone 27 procedures so far, making her lips four times larger than their original size.
“I really love them, and it makes me feel much better,” Andrea shared in an interview with Jam Press.
However, her dream comes with a hefty price tag. In Bulgaria, each injection costs around $150, and Andrea has already spent nearly $5,000 on her lip enhancements, as reported by Malay Mail. Although she studied German philology at a university in Sofia, her focus has shifted towards achieving her cosmetic goals.
Despite receiving warnings from doctors to avoid further injections, Andrea remains determined. She simply wants to hold the title of the world’s largest lips. Although she hasn’t officially broken any records, she firmly believes that her lips are already the biggest globally.
Her bold appearance has garnered attention online, with many admirers reaching out to her on social media, offering gifts, trips, and even romantic invitations. Interestingly, some fans who follow her journey claim she might already hold the unofficial record.
The path to achieving her dream hasn’t been entirely smooth. Andrea admits that eating became challenging after each procedure. “It was difficult to eat for two to three days after each injection,” she said. However, she insists that, aside from temporary discomfort, there are no long-term dietary restrictions.
Andrea acknowledges that some doctors have advised her to stop, but one doctor has agreed to continue if she waits a few months between procedures. Her resolve remains unshaken; she plans to continue enhancing her lips despite the risks.
Her unique look often draws public attention, both positive and negative. Yet, Andrea has learned to brush off criticism and embrace her appearance. “I think everyone should look however they want,” she confidently states.
